Hi people! Weekends come by really fast now when you're working and studying. Finally I don't have to wake up early to the alarm clock but I don't know why I can't stay asleep any longer :(

Been so busy with school and work, if not appointments with the girlfriends. Seems like it's impossible to be able to sleep early anymore. Man it's really difficult having to juggle school work and work work. I need to be more organised.

Anyway, Stefanie's back!! Us girls met for supper at 126 on Monday before hanging by Alcove's poolside to chitchat with 3kg of rambutans. Felt good! Met up with Christine for a belated birthday dinner too.


Family went to Tao's to celebrate my birthday with the Ho's. Food was good as usual but I'm starting to get sick of it. No more Tao's till next year, at least. Twice a year is too much! Still wondering how Paradiz Center got its new name. Seriously, Po Mo? What on earth does it mean. It's like some hanyu pinyin thing, bo PO MO fo, don't you think?

Met up with Sylvia for yet another belated birthday dinner on Thursday! Sorry I MIA-ed for so long; was really busy the past few weeks! Nice catching up with her, as usual. They had this Japanese Food Fair going on at PS and we were damn fascinated by the mini donut machine. There was even a square shaped watermelon which cost $199, no kidding. So precious it was manned by a sales lady who squealed 'cannot touch ah!! read the sign!!' each time someone's finger came within a 10cm radius of the fruit.

Yesterday, Stefanie, Sweeyim and I caught The Haunting In Connecticut which wasn't so scary but not too bad, except that we were late and had trouble trying to understand the full story. Somebody explain?
Then YT joined us and we went to LJS, just like sweeyim had guessed. YT is getting so predictable.
We bumped into the MJR boys and it looked like we were having some mini mjr gathering outside Cine. Next time we should all just hang outside Cine and wait to bump into people because everyone just stands and bums around there all the time.
Rest of the night was spent with other friends.. and it was good, I must say. On a random note, I think girls are really silly creatures.

I just bought a life savings plan and told my dad I'm gonna pay my bills on my own. What responsibility! I got really scared after signing the documents, scared that I've have trouble trying to cope with all the payments. Did some financial planning on my own, and let's hope I wouldn't have to spend the last week of every month eating grass. Insurance, hp bills, credit card bills. Don't these terms scare you??

I want to sleep :(

I'm 20! Which makes this blogname pretty invalid, doesn't it?

Damn glad I've got this bunch on girls I can count on to turn my lousy day around and make it one of my best nights ever.

YT brought with her a box of Royce chocolate when she met me.. and we had dinner at Shokudo. Nothing beats girl time, really. After we split up at Eunos, she appeared in my living room with Huixian and Sweeyim after I came out of the shower!


Surprise got slightly blown but their gesture really brought a mega huge smile to my face. THANKS GIRLS!
Fell for their 'we bought you a bear leh" trick last week.. and I really got slightly upset because my closest people would know that I do not collect soft toys..

This has gotta be the most expensive bear I've come across and I love it!

24hours to 20.

My screwed last day as a 'teen'.

I made up to school today, loose powder, blusher all. So excited about celebrating my birthday tonight.

Then the sky turned gray and it began to drizzle. I was too lazy to bring my umbrella out because I didn't want to go to ner lugging a laptop and heavy bag. The moment I stepped out of the lift it began to pour. So I went back up, resigning to the fact that I had to bring an umbrella with me. The rain stopped when I got home. I thought I'd take my chances and rush out because all I needed to do was get to the bus stop and my journey would be sheltered all the way. I left home and made my way down to the main road.

The rain came down doubly hard than it initially was. TA MA DE!

I still made a dash for it, and this man in a car honked, offering me a brolly. So nice to see such Singaporeans around.

Then my dinner appointment got cancelled. Haha I got pretty speechless and more convinced that the rest of my day was gonna suck.
To think I'd insisted with my tutee on changing his tuition day and argued with mummy for making this day free for my friend and not my aunt who'd given me a huge red packet. All of a sudden I've become super free.

I guess people have different priorities in their lives.

I wanted to get to Starbucks for a Javachip and there wasn't an empty table.

Waiting for YT now; maybe we'd be able to explore our BBs together and perhaps have Sakae again, like we did on this day 2 years ago.

Wimbledon 2009

After 4+ hours (and some luck) Roger Federer's finally a record-breaking champion!

It's crazy that they played till 17-15 in the final set and Andy Roddick so deserves the winning title.. Guess this is the closest Roddick has ever gotten to winning Wimbledon. Really thought that he'd just beat Federer. Shows how unexpected everything can be.

Oh well. Someone had to win right.

Final set play so long. Finally I can get to my assignment.
