Last Saturday, at a chalet, I was standing around talking to my primary school friends whom I'd coincidentally met there and I kept dropping the empty cup that I was holding. It pissed me off so badly I put it down, hard.
Then, while talking to Graham, I just let the cup of green tea slip off my hand out of the blue and made a mess on the floor.

Merry Christmas all! Slightly late because there's finally time to lie in bed and spend time with the laptop.

Work was fun on Christmas eve, everyone bought presents but I only brought muffins and cookies. So nice right? Guilt meter 10/10 but never mind. They said it was nice. The staff party was awesome because there was a huge spread of KFC and Pizza hut, followed by 2 huge boxes of Coffee Bean desserts + fruit cocktail made by the Principal. Totally took away my appetite for dinner.

After a 45 min nap (making the total amount of sleep time from Thursday 1h 45 mins), we went to Equatorial for the annual Sims Christmas Party cum Joyce's birthday celebration. Food looked good but the lack of sleep probably made me sick for a bit and turned me away from the dining table. Only finally felt like eating when Ian made me try a mouth of his 5/6th serving of pasta+mash potatoes.
We played Bingo and some other games, then had our gift exchange where I, once again, got Uncle Robson's gift which was, once again, a card holder.
After waiting for the birthday girl to cut her cake, Sarah and I went off for our respective plans, in which mine was to head to Haji lane with Regine, Shang and Soo. We then decided to spend the next few early hours of Christmas playing Mahjong at Shang's. Almost lost all my chips again but recouped my losses in the end. They say it's because of the elephant and R's 必胜御守 but I'd like to think it was just me. :)







Finally we all got to rest more (5 hours this time) and it was picnic time! Treated Bambi and Deedee to a trip out to the Botanic Garden. For once, Deedee was pretty obedient and followed us without having to be put on her leash. But she still left her poop everywhere she went. The 2 of them couldn't stop hunting for food and went running to everyone holding food. But Bambi was still the ultimate because she jumped off R's lap to catch the piece of dog food I'd thrown to Deedee.
Deedee was probably the happiest when R opened a pack of Caeser and Huixian scooped half of it out and put it on the floor for her. We all saw the dog food for about 2 secs and it was gone. All gone.
We then decided to leave. Washed the dogs a little then put them both in Bambi's bag. Lazy Deedee decided to make herself comfortable in it and Bam seemed to be almost falling out half the time.






We got lost trying to look for Holland V, and just went R decided to head to Dempsey, we found Holland V right next to us. Some zi char and Cold Rock later, we made plans for Summer Breeze. BTW, when we were eating, the bag in which Deedee was in suddenly fell off the chair. R gave a loud 'OMG' but Deedee was still nua-ing in the bag, unhurt and unafraid. Damn lazy lor! When Bambi was inside and the bag fell earlier on, she still knew how to jump out. Tsk.

Drank a tad too much (by my standards) and fell asleep at Summer Breeze and my very nice friends decided to keep for themselves a picture of me sleeping. Basket. I woke up to find Soo finishing my kiam chai teng. TMD

My sister went clubbing for the first time and I got worried when she stopped replying my messages and not answering my phone call. This morning I got up and the first thing I did was to turn and make sure she was in made. Thankfully she was.

That was how i spent my Christmas. Nothing extraordinary but every bit enjoyable. I hope you guys had a great one too!

Sometimes I think back on what I used to have, what I have lost, what's not the same anymore. Then I think of what I've got now. Life's not the same, but it could still be good. We all get to choose whether or not to be happy. As long as the flaws are hidden, we can forget about the feeling called sadness.

If every day could be like today, I could always be a very, very happy girl.

Hi!

After being on a week-long MC, I'm super exhausted. I've had awesome friends keeping me company. Awesome friends who cannot stop teasing me and blaming me for every suey (unlucky) happening going their way. I need a new chinese name, period.
Anyway guys, I checked out the meaning of 'suwei suwei suwei' in Pitbull's Krazy, which is actually 'Sube Sube Sube .. Sube El Volumen', meaning 'Up up up, turn the volume up'
I got it from yahoo answers so I don't know if it's accurate. But no matter what, I'm sure my fab friends Shang, Soo and Regine will be able to interpret something dirty from that definition.

Yesterday I went prawning for the 3rd time and caught my very 1st (and only) prawn. I suppose I was finally heng enough to catch one, but suey because the rest caught an average of 7 prawns each. At least my catch wasn't the puny one that Shang caught, thank goodness.

I really need my bed now. Good night!

Odyssey II + Zoukout 09

Odyssey II's come and gone in a flash again. When we did Odyssey, I didn't think anyone would bring everyone back for a concert again. But Jieyuan did, and we had an amazing concert, practiced and delivered in a month. Well maybe not too much of practicing for me.. But meeting the old band mates and new alumni was great.

Saturday was hell of a busy day. FTT (PASSED, FINALLY), Odyssey, then Zoukout. I almost thought I wouldn't survive zoukout. We played the Luge, drank before the guys came, then we fell.

ok la in all Zoukout was enjoyable. Every year's a different experience.

Boring

There is nothing interesting in my life to blog about anymore. In fact, I don't even blog interestingly. No one should be reading this anymore, and when I read back on my past entries in months/years to come, I'd probably laugh at myself for being such a dull person with no writing creativity.

Life's basically been mainly comprised of work, school, haji, mahjong, bpl, dinner, supper. Boring? Somehow not. Cos I've got some pretty rad friends for company almost every night.

Can I just have more luck in MJ? Lost all my chips last night :(

It's funny how I seldom am at home but am missing the parents + Megan so much now that they're out of SG. I promise I'll (try to) spend more time at home. The house's so quiet with just Ian, aunty and me. Ok only quiet when Deedee's not barking. She's been making so much noise lately.

Can't wait for Wednesday. Can't wait for Huixian and Regine to be back by then too!

When Love Takes Over

HI WORLD!

Finally in the mood for some blogging! I'd better be fast before the feeling runs out.

Supperclub with the TP people + Shang, Gabriel and Hangtong on Friday was beyond awesome! The DJ played our favourite songs, the dancefloor wasn't too packed, we had beds (and apples) and there were enough drinks. If only the jaggerbomb was better.

Hadn't seen Joyce and Jessie in ages before that night so it was great spending the night with them. I think we should all hang again some time soon, but maybe without the vodka. *winks at Joyce

We bumped into Sam Lau, who coincidentally happened to be with his OCS buddies, of which included my primary school mate(s), Benson and Jalene. Singapore is getting way to small.

After all these, everyone got up early on Saturday for our own appointments, and when dinner came, we were all too stoned. Steamboat, Liverpool vs ManC, The Proposal, and I knocked out. Seems like Regine was the only one who managed to stay up throughout the ManU game. :\

HIII I haven't been blogging so much, I've kinda 'lost touch' with Blogger. Pfft.

Life's been pretty busy lately, but in a good way. It's really funny how I really become friends with some poly mates only after graduation. Roseann, Wanru, now Pillapongpongchai. It's been a month of parties and super late nights, not that I'm complaining.

Urgh. I really should stop blogging. When I come here I get so lost about what to write, I feel like closing the window.

In short, everything's great and I'm counting down to Friday's Supperclub event with the poly mates! And, everyone should start listening to David Guetta if you haven't already done so.

After worrying that Liverpool would perform like they did in their last 4 matches, they finally showed their world-class performance against Man Utd last night.. leaving me happy beyond words. If only I'd gone out to catch the game!

Everyone played so well, even Lucas did! My uncle told me to give up on Liverpool and follow him in supporting AC Milan, but how can I do that right? There's just something about being a Liverpool fan.. you can never quit supporting them.

Friday's Halloween Horrors @ the night safari with Stefanie, Wanru, Lingwei and Rosie was great fun! For starters we had Udders and Koi, and then we found our way to ulu Mandai to meet the animals and costumed people. First time to the night safari since my primary school days, I never thought that place was so huge!

So well made up, right?

Yesterday, my 3rd aunt celebrated at With A Pinch of Salt at Tanjong Katong, which used to be my grandparents' house. The lady boss was really nice to allow them to display our family's old photos up on the walls and over the piano! It was like some huge reunion, though we meet every Sunday. The restaurant seemed to be a mini Sims gallery for the day. Words can't describe how much I love this family I've got.

Dinner with Huixian, Stefanie and Fang Ning at Crystal Jade was good! Christine and Kenny came over to say hi, and I got my second organiser from that girl. I was supposed to be the one getting it this time round actually.. Thanks a lot woman! Us girls then went down to Zouk and I had the most embarrassing night in months... Let's not even go there. Celebrated (sorta) Fanghao's ORD and Marcus Heng got me my favourite shots, the drinks and company were wonderful.






Ok tuition in abit, then it's Liverpool VS ManUtd. Anyone wants to predict the score?

I've been way too busy to upload this space, but check out Twitter. It's the new blog! Quick and you don't have to think of anything more than 140 words.

It's been a really crazy week with assignment deadlines and field practicums. Hell glad that every thing's over and I've got an extra long weekend to rest (think Friday to Monday). Glad to say that practicum went fine, though preparing the report left me with practically no sleep at all the night before.
Also met Christine for lunch one day after school, yes it's been long. Soup Spoon and B&J was great all the same. Raffles City would forever make me spoilt for choice when I go there for meals.

Well.... I think I've just had the biggest drama of my life, so big it makes 90210 seem like no biggie. Hopefully a few years down the road we'd all be laughing at this over a couple of beers.. or sour plum shots, actually.

Caught (500) Days of Summer last evening with the girls, and I liked it. Not your typical love movie, but very much real. People who have fallen out of love would probably feel for it a great deal. Nice flick. I've been catching so much movies, I know! Can't blame me that so many nice shows have been showing in the screens.

It's been crazy since October started. Children's Day was a very happy and pretty eventful day and much has happened since then. Drama, fun, laughter, tears, all within these 6 days. Amazing, isn't it?
