Amongst the busy schedule this week, christine and i still found time to chill at Cafe Del Mar! We needed that relac session really, really badly.




I was so shagged after a sleepless night followed by whole day of culi that i went to bed at 10pm. Damn shiok i tell you. Been long since i managed to get so much sleep.
So after that much deserved rest, i went to prepare the mise en place.
Woke the guy up, and we started cookin'!


I know the menu has a super cock looking me in it but whatever. The chicken tasted fine, but we cooked it for quite awhile because the oven only emitted heat from above :\
The clam chowder was the love! With additional chunks of carrots and potatoes. Cooking today was a fun experience for us both, but tiring. I doubt he's gonna be willing to enter the kitchen again anytime soon. Sigh..

We got changed and headed down to orchard road to shop, have dinner, and then dessert at Bakerzin!

Joined the family, who was in town for dinner with Uncle Joe.
