Many thoughts flood the mind.
“why did I do that”
“why are there no emails coming in”
“why didn’t I buy enough presents”
“stop thinking”
“yes email!”
“junk mail”
and the list goes on. So many thoughts rush through ours minds endlessly. Is it ever possible to be calm and free from thoughts for even 1 second? As quick as they come and go, these thoughts still tire the brain out.
How many times have you succumbed to lust? To something you know wouldn’t last longer than that day itself, to something you know you shouldn’t be getting close to. Such temptations are so much easier to give in than to get into a relationship. However short lived that moment is, you know it’s the time where you do not have to think of the consequences (if they’re any), you know that you won’t owe anyone any explanation; it’s time to indulge. But the ending of each session leaves you hungry for more, and as time goes you get more and more of everything you want. Physical touch, sweet nothings, everything. But love.
Is there any time when lust can turn into love, or is this nothing but something we can only ponder about.
